Each spring through fall, Napa County Landmarks offers sidewalk tours of historic neighborhoods in Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville and Napa. Perhaps the most popular Napa tour is the June visit to Tulocay Cemetery, a rocky outpost of an old Spanish land grant that now is the final resting place of approximately 65,000 souls, some of them famous or infamous, but all integral to Napa's development and continued prosperity today.

No advance reservations required. Most start at 9:45 AM on specific Saturdays and run an average of 90 minutes.

Presented by Napa Valley Film Society, mission of the NVAL is to present artistic, cultural, educational, and political activities and events.  The Lecture Series provides a forum for presenting speeches, debates and discussions, as well as a venue for a steady stream of local, national and international artistic, cultural, educational and political personalities.

Oxbow Public Market

The Oxbow Public Market is a specialty retail marketplace - containing complementary food vendors, cafes, wine tasting, and a wide selection of products from local family owned farms. Its focus is to showcase artisanal food and wine producers within a unique open-span public market facility, all being served by one large common area and outdoor deck along the Napa River. It is scheduled to open in the fall of 2007.

At the Napa County Historical Society, programs are held on the first Sunday of most months, and are devoted to historically significant topics of regional interest. Bus trips to historically significant sites in the Napa area are also arranged.
